Changes/Cancellations Questions?

Because your furniture is crafted specially for you, there may be occasions when we will be unable to make requested changes, but we will do the best we can to accommodate your needs.

Unfortunately we are unable to accept requests for cancellations of your order.

Production Time

For your convenience, we post "usually ships within" information next to each product. This information is updated from time to time.

Montana Log Outfitters makes every effort to ensure that you can enjoy your fine log furniture or accessory purchases in your home as soon as possible. Some accessories are available for shipment within 2-3 days. However, most furniture items require three (3) to ten (10) weeks, or longer (due to high demand), before they are ready for shipment. While we continually works on shortening production times for our customers, the craftsmanship exhibited in many pieces is the direct result of a made-to-order manufacturing process. Thus, our stated times for product availability are only estimates.

Shipping / Delivery Times

Shipping time from our warehouse to you is in addition to any product lead-times noted. Standard delivery for accessories and other small furniture items are via FEDEX Ground service.

Larger items are shipped via specialized, freight trucking companies. Due to the size and weight of furniture pieces, these delivery times vary more widely than those for smaller items shipped via FEDEX. Although we cannot provide exact delivery dates for items shipped in this manner, our friendly customer service representatives will help you track your shipment and will assist in contacting the shipping company to help you plan for the delivery. For all ground deliveries, you must be present to sign for and inspect your furniture.

We will keep you informed of your order status by e-mail on an ongoing basis.

Inspecting Your Delivery

Montana Log Outfitters offers fine log furniture, and makes every effort to ensure that these products are packaged and delivered by the most reputable and qualified shipping companies. Despite these precautions, the possibility does exist that your order may arrive with minor transit damage, or, in rare instances, with a minor manufacturing defect.

When your order arrives, please take the time to inspect it to ensure that the paperwork is accurate, the correct number and type of items have been delivered, and that the shipment is free from any damage or defect. It is imperative that you make a report of any damage or defect immediately upon delivery by noting the problem on the freight carrier's Bill of Lading and contacting Montana Log Outfitters Customer Service. Montana Log Outfitters is unable to accept responsibility for any damage that has not been noted on the Bill of Lading, or any defect that is reported more than 24 hours following delivery. Do not assemble defective furniture unless you are able to disassemble it for packaging into its original shipping containers for return to us.

When you make a report of damage or defect to Montana Log Outfitters's Customer Service department, we will take immediate action to remedy the situation.

Incomplete Orders

Montana Log Outfitters makes every effort to deliver your entire order at one time. In situations where a specialty or long lead-time item delays part of your order, you can contact our Customer Service department to request that your order be shipped in stages.

Return Policy

Questions?

Montana Log Outfitters wants you to be happy with your purchase. Therefore, if any product does not meet your expectations, you may return the item (not including custom orders) within 30 days for a refund of the purchase price. (Each item will be subject to a restocking fee.) The item must be returned in new condition, and in the original packaging.

If any item is returned for reasons other than defect-determined by Montana Log Outfitters, you will be responsible for packaging/shipping charges, as well as applicable restocking fees. Closeouts, Sale items, Custom and Special orders are considered final sales and may not be returned. A return authorization must be obtained by emailing prior to the return of any item.

Montana Log Outfitters proudly provides you, the original retail purchaser, with the following limited warranty on your Montana Log Outfitters - Log Furniture. This warranty applies to log furniture purchased from Montana Log Outfitters and applies only under conditions of normal indoor residential use.

We have made it our goal to offer our customers the highest quality log furniture available, however, as pine is a natural product, it is not uncommon for there to be knots and small checking, these are a natural occurrence enhancing the finished product. We feel confident that the materials we use are the best. Also realizing that nature cannot be controlled, if at any time, problems or defects occur, due to the assembly or the materials used, thus rendering the product incapable of performing it's function, Montana Log Outfitters will repair or replace the affected piece at no charge to the customer. We at Montana Log Outfitters, hope that you enjoy the product you have purchased, and also feel comforted knowing that we stand behind our products for life. (unfinished furniture includes a one-year warranty on wood components and a five-year on all other components)

MECHANICAL COMPONENTS. Examples: drawer and door slides, table slides, lighting components, pocket door hinges, locks.

WARRANTY COVERAGE. Our mechanical components are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship, materials or construction for five years.

-Slight variations in appearance which result from the normal expansion and contraction of wood as it responds to climatic changes in the home. Normal wear and tear, or damages which result from improper use, improper care, accidents, abuse or negligence.

-Checking is a normal occurance in lodgepole pine...it is not considered defective unless the product is incapable of performing it's function.

-Normal wear and tear, or damages which occur due to improper use*, improper care or negligence.

-Normal wear and tear or mechanism breakage or failure due to improper use or negligence.

THE REMEDIES PROVIDED IN THIS ARTICLE ARE EXCLUSIVE AND TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY APPLICABLE LAW ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER REMEDIES, WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS AND LIABILITIES, WHETHER IN CONTRACT OR IN TORT ALL OF WHICH ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED. THIS WARRANTY is valid only in the continental United States and only on Montana Log Outfitters - Log Furniture. This warranty does not apply to furniture designed for outdoor use.

YOUR RIGHTS. This Warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusions and limitations on incidental and consequential damages or the limitations on implied warranties, so the above limitations may not apply to you. Proper care and use are essential for preserving your rights under this warranty.

WARRANTY SERVICE. If you find a problem with your Montana Log Outfitters - Log Furniture that you feel is covered by our warranty, contact us by email. You will need your sales receipt to initiate your warranty claim; it will also be helpful to have your delivery ticket. The sole remedies provided by Montana Log Outfitters - Log Furniture under this warranty to a customer will be to repair or replace the defective part or product. Montana Log Outfitters - Log Furniture reserves the right to decide the appropriate remedy. If we decide to replace a product we no longer sell, we will replace it with a comparable product.
